Confluence of Tastes – Iron Friendship for a Shared Future
We are delighted to invite you to a unique cooking workshop, organized by the Belt and Road Institute Belgrade and Junior Chef Club, where Serbia’s top young chefs will teach twenty influential young Chinese influencers how to prepare traditional Serbian dishes. It will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, starting at noon in hall 5 of this year’s Food Vision by Open Balkan.
The goal of this workshop is to showcase the richness of Serbian cuisine as an important part of the country’s cultural heritage and traditions through the preparation of authentic Serbian recipes.
This initiative carries broader significance, as the influencers will share the knowledge and experiences gained during the workshop with young people across China through their social media platforms. In doing so, the workshop not only promotes Serbian gastronomy but also actively contributes to bringing our nations closer together, strengthening mutual understanding and friendship.
The workshop draws inspiration from the recently signed Joint Statement on the Shared Future of Serbia and China, whose principles encourage joint efforts to connect the two cultures through food, tradition, and innovative forms of collaboration. Through this event, Serbian cuisine becomes a bridge that unites the two nations and illuminates the path toward even stronger ties in the future.
The institutions and organizations behind this workshop further ensure its importance and quality, making it a key part of this year’s event. This unique workshop will take place at the Presentation Kitchen fair segment. Welcome!
