100 WOMEN WINERY

Description: A completely unique and truly all-female story! The 100 Women Winery is actually a vineyard-winemaking cooperative made up exclusively of women. It is a unique project in which women gathered in a cluster around a common goal - to create quality wines. Each of these fantastic women is the owner of a part of the vineyard and a participant in the ownership share of the winery. This concept has been operating since 2018, and this year 2024, the 100-woman winery is releasing around 160,000 bottles per year on the market. The wines are obtained from vineyards, with a total area of 30 hectares, in the position of Vela Polje, close to Niš, tucked away below Ozren, which belong to the Këhora vineyard.

Description: The Plantaze company is based in Montenegro, specifically in Podgorica, and was founded in 1963. It manages the largest vineyard in Europe within a single complex, covering 2,310 hectares. Known for its autochthonous varieties, Vranac and Krstač, Plantaze produces around 15 million bottles of wine annually. Our wines are available in 43 countries worldwide. We have three wine cellars, among which the Sipcanik Wine Cellar has become a true tourist attraction, as it was once an underground military airport that now ages over 2 million liters of wine in oak barrels and barriques. Description: Abrau-Durso domain in the south of Russia is the cradle of national winemaking. It is a part of Russian history. The domain was founded in 1870 by Russian Emperor Alexander II decree. The agronomist of Czech origin Bedrzych Augustine Heyduk discovered this perfect winemaking terroir more than 145 years ago: The northwestern coast of Caucasus is one of the best areas in the world for grape culture. A new California for wines is found here. Difficult to find even a similar area in the world. Neither Burgundy, nor Champagne, nor Kakheti, and even more Crimea, can serve as an example or a model for complete similarity. In early XX Century French winemaker from Champagne Victor Dravigny, invited to Abrau-Durso, brought to perfection the classic method of sparkling wine creation. As a result, sparkling wines Abrau-Durso started their export markets expansion and being served at the Russian Royal Court. In 2016 experienced French expert Georges Blanck, formerly part of Pommery, Lanson and Moet & Chandon teams, joined Abrau-Durso as Chief Oenologist. Today he contributes the entire winemaking process, from harvesting and selecting grapes to the assemblage of classic method sparkling wines and wines made with method of Charmat-Martinotti.

Description: Four hundred years amongst vineyards and a passion for wine. The history of the Armani family and that of viticulture in the Adige Valley, in the north east of Italy, between the provinces of Trento and Verona, have been evolving together, without interruption, for more than 4 centuries. Today “Albino Armani Viticoltori dal 1607” means territory, or rather territories. The historical property in Dolcè, in the Adige Valley in the province of Verona, is one of 3 wineries located in the region Veneto: one other is to be found in Marano, in the Valpolicella Classico area, and the other in the province of Treviso, in San Polo di Piave, where our biodynamic wines are produced. Two other wineries are located in the regions Trentino and Friuli. The five wineries watch over their territories, vinifying the grapes of the surrounding vineyards. In each of them the common thread is a terroir reflecting its specific particular character in the wines springing from its soil. The headquarters remain in Dolcè, where the “Conservatoria”, a project for safeguarding local grape varieties in danger of extinction, can be visited.

We are a family winery focused on the production of top-quality wines, exclusively from grapes that we cultivate ourselves on our own 85 hectares of vineyards. The imperative in production is quality, so with the philosophy of low yields we produce about 300,000 bottles of wine per year. Our key goal in wine production is to always aspire for the highest possible quality of our wines. That is why Aleksandrovic winery has been receiving many medals at the highest-ranked international competitions. Since 2009 at the most prestigious world wine competitions held in London, namely Decanter, IWe, and IWSC we have collected more than 100 medals for our wines. Adding medals from AWC Vienna, Mundus Vini Germany, Chardonnay de Monde France, Emozioni dal Mondo Italy, Sakura and Japan Wine Challenge, Balkan International Wine Competition, and many other regional competitions we have received a total of more than 300 international medals. Moreover, sparkling Trijumf Chardonnay, the very first Serbian sparkling wine produced using the Traditional Methode Champenoise, was proclaimed the best sparkling wine of Southeastern Europe at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships held in London by the world recognized expert Tom Stevenson. In the end, what makes us the proudest is the presence of our wines on the wine lists of the wine bars, restaurants, and hotels all around the world in more than 20 countries (Japan, China, Hong Kong, Russia, Central, and Western European countries, and the USA).

We have our own fruit orchards on an area of 12 hectares, where the old autochthonous varieties of plums Crvena ranka, Požegača, Dugka Ranica have been preserved. We built a modern distillery for the production of brandy "Aleksić prvi doo". The experience and skill that was passed down from the older to the younger, from generation to generation, allowed us to keep the traditional way of producing, distilling and storing brandy. The brandies of the "Aleksić" distillery have won numerous awards and recognitions at domestic and international fairs. Last year, we were declared the absolute champion in the category of plum wine, as well as quality champions at the Wine vision by open Balkan 2023 fair.

Description: Alimpic Distillery is a family-owned distillery located at the foot of the Cer mountain, an area traditionally abundant in plums and other fruits used to make Serbian rakija. In addition to Čačak varieties of plums, what sets us apart from other distilleries is the use of rare plum varieties such as jubilee, aženka, vižn, and opal, which give our plum rakija a unique character. The rakija is produced using handcrafted copper stills with a capacity of 500 liters, where our Jubilee rakija is obtained through double distillation. The rakija matures in oak barrels with capacities of 225 liters, 500 liters, and 750 liters.

Description: Ambelos Winery is a winery of the Eparchy of Braničevo that produces wines from carefully selected grapes from its own vineyard in the Koporin Monastery, which is cultivated organically. Bishop Ignatije makes wines with a lot of love in a traditional way without using modern oenological tools. The wines are aged for one year in oak barrels. The word Ambelos hides a beautiful symbolism, it denotes a vineyard but also a vineyard as the Church of God. It also means the vine from whose grapes the wine that is offered to God at the Holy Liturgy is obtained. The winery has a small tasting room in the basement. Also, on the ground floor there is a tasting room for 50 people and 2 terraces with as many more places. On the 3rd floor of the pirga there is a tasting room for 25 people. The winery offers wine lovers accommodation in the form of 3 apartments and a room with a bathroom.

Description: Anatea Winery is a family winery owned by the Novković family, which produces wine from grapes grown in its own vineyards of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, located on the slopes of Fruška Gora around Irig, in the village of Rivica. These vineyards were planted between 2015 and 2017. We are recognized in the market for our dry rosé wine, Rozle, with pleasant, fruity aromas characteristic of wines from the Fruška Gora wine region. We first presented and offered this wine for sale in 2021, and since then, we have produced a certain quantity of this wine each year, which, in addition to its taste, is distinguished by beautiful aromas and flavors, in line with the slogan that accompanies this label: “It’s not all black; there’s something rosy too.” In addition to this label, we have also offered a red wine, Nataša, which is produced from Cabernet Franc and has been enriched by aging in French oak barrels for a year. Like the Rozle, this wine, alongside the characteristic aromas of the Fruška Gora wine region, offers fullness of flavor and spiciness from the barrel. Description: I am Anja, 23 years old, and I graduated from the faculties of law and economics, but three years ago I began my journey in the world of wine. My adventure with grapes and viticulture started in Velika Plana, a small town known for its ideal conditions for growing grapevines. From the moment I stepped into the vineyard, I knew I had found my passion. When I started three years ago, I couldn’t have imagined how far this journey would take me. I began learning about different grape varieties, cultivation methods, and vineyard protection. Every day was a new lesson, filled with challenges but also invaluable experiences. Currently, I don’t have my own winery, but I closely collaborate with a local winery where I produce my wine. This partnership has allowed me to focus on growing grapes and developing my wine recipes while utilizing their equipment and infrastructure for production. Although this is a temporary solution, my goal is to build my own winery in Velika Plana soon. Working on the project for my own winery is exciting and demanding. Every day I strive to improve my knowledge of vinification and winery management. I plan for the new winery to be a place where traditional winemaking methods meet modern technologies, thus creating wines that will be recognized for their quality and authenticity. I also want the winery to be open to visitors, where they can enjoy tastings and tour the vineyards, participating in a unique wine experience. The support of my family and friends plays a crucial role in my journey. Their belief in me and my vision provides me with extra motivation to keep going, even when I face obstacles. I am proud of what I have achieved so far, but I am aware that this is just the beginning. Description: Art et Vinum is a winery founded by Đorđe Kolarović, an academic painter, based on a long-standing family tradition that dates back to 1720. The foundation of production consists of dessert wines Bermet and Meduza. The Art et Vinum wine cellar is located in the very center of Sremski Karlovci at Patrijarha Rajačića St. No. 3. In the wine cellar-gallery, our wines are exhibited for free tasting, next to paintings (oil on canvas). Dessert wines are made using a family recipe perfected by wine expert and international judge at wine festivals, Đorđe Kolarović, from California's Napa Valley. He has passed down all his knowledge to his nephew, who bears his uncle's name. These wines have won multiple awards at local wine festivals and are proud holders of several gold medals and a champion trophy. The taste is rich with fruity aromas and hints of aromatic herbs, creating a unique atmosphere and celebration at the table. They can be enjoyed as an aperitif or a digestif, and should always be served chilled.

Description: Domeniile Sahateni (also known as Aurelia Visinescu wines) is a family business established in 2003 which Aurelia Visinescu says that she would not have started without the help and support of her associate Steve Cacenco. In love with nature, Aurelia Vișinescu chose to study viticulture and oenology, fascinated by the science behind Bacchus’ liquor. The 82 ha of vineyards are close to the winery laying from the bottom of Istrita Hills, in Sahateni village, 125 m ASL where whites and Pinot noir are growing up to the top where altitude exceeds 450 m ASL in Naeni and Fințesti villages, where the late-ripening reds are cultivated. The grape varieties we carefully grow here are indigenous ones: Fetească Neagră, Fetească Albă, Tămâioasă Românească, Fetească Regală, and internationals such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Aurelia combines the best of modern and traditional winemaking methods to showcase distinctive varietal flavours. Through minimal manipulation in the cellar, we allow the wines to express the authentic character of our soils, climate, and people’s hands.

After the must is fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks, the wine is conveyed into a large circular hall, one of the cellar’s more remarkable features. Here, the international varieties mature in oak barrels, while Sangiovese will rest in large oak casks; these large ovals enable the complexity and elegance of the Sangiovese to emerge, while the smaller barrels serve to balance the forcefulness and harmony of the Bordeaux blends. Description: Cantina Bernardi has always specialized in the production of Prosecco and Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadenne DOCG. One of its peculiarities is the meticulousness and continuity in the production method of its Prosecco. The winery has a very traditional and artisanal approach to production and its sparkling wines are always true to themselves, remaining very stable over time in quality and sensory expressions because the style is that of a classic production, not inattentive to the fashions of the moment. Bernardi uses only grapes from its own lands. Cantina Bernardi, nestled in the idyllic hills of Refrontolo, is the result of Mansueto Bernardi’s stubborn determination, who founded it in 1960. Description: Our story starts in Banoštor, probably the leading wine village in Serbia with 800 inhabitants, 10 wineries and 250 hectares of vineyards, where in the period 2010-2012, 12 hectares of our vineyards were planted. The land is very heterogeneous, clay is dominant (cambisol and vertisol), with presence of marl, limestone and volcanic rock. The vineyards are planted on two slopes that touch the national park of Fruška Gora, at an altitude of 140-220 m, looking in the distance to the Danube. From it we get another sun (200-240 sunny days a year), which in winter heats the vineyards, as well as the constant breeze that cools them during the hot summer. The land is very permeable and loose and does not retain moisture. Grapes mature and accumulate more sugar than in other areas and allow us to obtain full and extractive wines. The proximity of the local stream brings us the appearance of the noble mold Botrytis Cinerea, with the help of which we get the deserted wine Makana by picking the grapes during the late spring. We have organic certificate, both for vineyard and wines. In the basement fermentation takes place exclusively on indigenous yeast, without the addition of oenological resources. Almost all wines lay in wooden vessels of 225 or 500 liters. Most of the white wines are made by the maceration process of 5 to 8 days, trying to put our terroir into the foreground. Description: Tehnomašina A.I.G., with its brand "Biser Wine Glass," has created wine glasses made from recyclable lightweight plastic that are safe to use without harming the environment compared to glass bottles. The glasses and production line have been enhanced and tailored to consumers. This has resulted in the most advanced global production of packaging, where machines and equipment are unified to complete the production line together. It all starts with the use of the highest quality recyclable plastic, and at the other end, sealed glasses are packed in boxes ready for distribution. Tehnomašina A.I.G. guarantees quality in its factories where the wine glasses are produced, filled, and packaged. Our production line capacity is xxxx glasses per hour. If demand increases, there is the potential to expand the production line in response to demand. Our brand new second-generation "Biser Wine Glass" features a new improved multilayer plastic that will extend the shelf life to a minimum of 12 months. If the glasses are stored in a refrigerator, this extends to a minimum of 18 months. The launch of the second-generation glass is accompanied by a new design on all boxes and lids. The "Biser Wine Glass" offers the possibility of adequate wine portion control without waste, allowing for enjoyment until the last sip. For catering, it saves on service time for pouring wine due to reduced time and dosing. You can enjoy wine consumption without opening an entire bottle. Two designs are offered: a traditional wine glass and a stemless glass, providing better stability on planes, buses, boats, and trains. The glasses are made, filled, and sealed with PP/EVOH/PP from RPC Alpha machines. The EVOH barrier protects against oxygen, preserving the freshness and quality of the wine for up to 10 months. The glasses can be completely recycled after use. They are easy to use, eliminate spills, and increase safety when serving. It is essential that wine glasses not only look good but are also safe and practical to reflect the image and quality of the wine, aided by this RPC that helps us deliver this.

Description: On the estate of their ancestors Avram and Joksim, in the village of Gorjani, among the old and new plum trees, the Bosiljčić family has established a distillery, nestled against an ancient granite castle built as a tribute to their tradition and great-grandfathers who distilled brandy. In untouched nature, at an altitude of 550 meters and bathed in sunlight, lies a 15-hectare plum orchard, from which rakija is produced according to preserved great-grandfather recipes, using the most advanced technologies. Bosiljčić Distillery has stainless steel fermenters for the simultaneous processing of 200 tons of pitted fruit, a column with five floors, a deflagmator, an aromatizer, and a 1500-liter pot indirectly heated by low-pressure steam. The pure heart of rakija goes into a new oak barrel from which it is packaged for consumers. Description: The Botunjac vineyards and winery are located in Aleksandrovačka Župa in the village of D. Zleginja, some 200 km south of Belgrade. The winery in its current form has been in existence since 1999, when we went to the Novi Sad Fair for the first time with one of our wines: "Pinot Noir" and won a medal for quality, and since then our wine quality has been well known in country and abroad. As a small, family winery, we are primarily focused on the quality of our selected number of labels. And often the work within the winery and vineyard keeps us away from activities at a large number of wine fairs and gatherings, and marketing exposure is also selected. Although this does not mean that we do not try to invest in the development of winemaking and viticulture in Serbia. In 2014, we participated in the Wine Mosaic in Montreux, Switzerland, where we presented to the world and submitted for further genetic analysis the Serbian autochthonous variety Jagoda, which was announced at this event as the biggest secret of today's wine world. And now we can proudly say that Jagoda is restored in Serbia. And we had the honor to be the first and now most recognized producers of this variety with the same label name: “Jagoda”. We have spread this noble variety to our winemaking friends all over Serbia. However, what drives us is the rich tradition of winemaking and viticulture that was established by our great-grandfathers, as well as their dedication, which is how we come to possession of recipe for our "Sveti Gral" that arrived during the Second World War from the Auschwitz camp on a back of a postcard. The winery also owns 2.5 hectares of its own vineyards located on the family property with the same address. At about 300m above sea level. The vineyards are oriented north-south with a slightly towards the north. From these vineyards we are making selective harvest where quantity is reduced significantly in favor of quality. All our wines are made in the closest possible relationship with nature because, as the owner Kosta Botunjac likes to say: “Every little ant and bug in the vineyard has its role.” And the natural yeasts are refined by the nearby rose plantations. Wines are without artificial yeasts and enzymes. The famous French newspaper la Liberation also wrote about our approach to winemaking and viticulture. Certainly, we also believe that the fact that the vineyards are located in the Župa climate, which in itself offers a large number of sunny days during the year, contributes to our (slightly idyllic) approach to winemaking and viticulture. warm and the nights are cold, while there is usually a gentle breeze at the location itself. The yields we have are about 5-6 thousand kilograms per hectare with vines that are between 15 and 25 years old, but due to our extremely selective method of processing and production, the total annual production is about 15 thousand bottles. Grapes are processed using the reductive method, the most modern technology. The capacity of the cellar is 50 thousand liters per year with a tendency to grow. Common characteristics of our wines are typical, expressive, intense aroma, harmony of acidity and strength, nobility of world varieties with a combination of local soil quality. The winery is located in Vojvodina, in the heart of North Bačka, next to Bačka Topola, on a traditional farm that is still in operation today. Our tradition of cultivating plums and producing rakija dates back to the early 19th century, as evidenced by Turkish tax records showing that my great-great... grandmother Marija paid taxes on the rakija still back in 1833. This confirms that rakija production was serious and that this tradition has not been interrupted to this day.

Description: Drama is undoubtedly one of the regions in Greece that has played a leading role in the renaissance of Greek wine and in building its reputation. Costa Lazaridis, the "patriarch" of viticulture in the region of Drama, revived the region's viticulture when he established the first organized linear vineyard in the prefecture in 1979 and founded Domaine Costa Lazaridi in Adriani in 1992, envisioning Drama as the "city of wine". Starting from an area of about 10 hectares, today a total of 300 hectares are cultivated in private ownership, spread over 4 sites in the region of Drama and 1 in a site in Attica, each with its own unique characteristics and taking advantage of the different soil and climatic factors of its terroir. The vineyards are managed according to the principles of integrated Agro 2.1 management, while the vineyard in Attica is managed and certified according to international organic standards. Description: Family-owned wine production from grapes. The tradition of cultivating grapevines dates back in our family to the early 20th century. For the past few years, we have been marketing our wines under the labels ZOVA, ROZEN, and FERDINAND. ZOVA - Tamjanika is a dry white wine produced from the eponymous indigenous grape variety from the Župa vineyard. It is characterized by specific floral notes, refreshing and mild taste... FERDINAND is a red wine made from a selective harvest of CABERNET SAUVIGNON, MERLOT, and PROKUPAC (Serbian indigenous grape varieties) from the Župa vineyards across multiple locations. After processing, the wine aged for 17 months in oak barrels made from Serbian oak (Kitnjak). The Ferdinand wine is ruby red, with aromas of violets, tobacco, oak, and wildflowers. It is refreshing in taste, with a perfect balance of total acidity, body, and alcohol, also featuring notes of dark berries, dark chocolate, tobacco, and clove at the finish. ROZEN is a rosé wine made from Merlot and Prokupac grape varieties (80-20). The wine is refreshing and abundant in aromas of strawberries, raspberries, and pomegranates.

Description: DeLena Winery is a family winery founded in 2012 in the village of Lipovac, municipality of Topola. The winery has 6 hectares of vineyards and exclusively produces wine from its own vineyards. It is one of the 8 wineries in the village of Lipovac and the first to be renovated in modern times. After the vineyards had been destructed by phylloxera, the flourishing of viticulture and winemaking began again in Šumadija in 1903 with the establishment of the Venčac Winemaking Cooperative. The cooperative, at the foot of Mount Venčac, was founded by winegrowers from the villages of Lipovac and Banje, and it would later grow into the largest wine center in the Balkans. King Aleksandar I Karađorđević was also a member of the Venčac Winemaking Cooperative, who then built his own winery on Oplenac. DeLena Winery is a follower of the tradition of Venčac Winemaking Cooperative. Our ancestors belonged to the cooperative, they were the founders, members and managers of the Cooperative until its closure at the beginning of the sixties of the last century. They owned vineyards planted with international varieties (Sauvignon Blanc, Semilion, Gewurztraminer), which we ourselves followed when choosing grape varieties. Today, we are the fifth generation of vineyards and winemakers in the village of Lipovac and we proudly continue the family tradition of our ancestors with the aim of highlighting the uniqueness of the Oplenac vineyards through diligent work in the vineyard. The winery also has a modern tasting room and is very active in wine tourism. Of the offered wines, we have rose as well as 3 white and 2 red wines. We expect an equally great interest in our wines from the domestic audience, but we are especially looking forward to the arrival of our foreign partners (importers) from the United States, where our wines have been successfully sold since the very beginning of the winery.

Description: Despotika Winery celebrated its fourteenth harvest in 2024. Fourteen years of dedicated work in the vineyard and winery to achieve the quality we strive for. We are located in Šumadija, near Smederevska Palanka, on a southwest-facing slope called Straževica, from where the view extends to Avala, Kosmaj, Bukulja, and Rudnik. We belong to the Krnjevačko wine region and own 20 hectares of vineyards across three different locations, allowing us to take advantage of the best from each terroir, in accordance with the diverse domestic and foreign grape varieties we have carefully selected. To turn each grape into the best wine, alongside nature and technology, we have assembled an energetic and experienced team of people who work daily to achieve our high goals. Given that we could not achieve anything without nature, we strive to intervene as little as possible in the vineyard, working most of the area by hand, harvesting the grapes by hand, and transitioning the Morava vineyards to organic cultivation, as the micro-location allows us to do so. When it comes to wine, our Morava achieves exceptional results in the vineyard, and thus also in the bottle. This variety, increasingly represented in Serbian vineyards, is reaching its full potential at the Straževica site. Intense notes of citrus, green apple, white peach, with a background of herbal notes of sage, rosemary, and wildflowers. Morava has a pronounced freshness and harmonious body achieved by nurturing with the "sur lie" method, while aging in the bottle develops mineral aromas of quartz and smoke. In addition to Morava, we process Tamjanika, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Rhine Riesling, Prokupac, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon from our vineyards, creating wines with vibrant names such as Touch, Restlessness, Dragonlike, Proof... Each variety, and thus each wine, is stylistically conceived in advance. Our technologist, Miloš Nikolić, works hard to achieve the best possible quality, utilizing his years of experience and state-of-the-art equipment, without which it is impossible to meet the high expectations of connoisseurs of our wines. Just an hour's drive from Belgrade, Despotika Winery is an attractive tourist and hedonistic destination. Beyond the vineyards, guided tours of one of the richest wine museums in Serbia, tours through the production facility, and the barrel room where the wines age, you can relax with various wine tastings or creative menus emphasizing local products paired with wine and food. The tasting area consists of a large hall and a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view. Starting this year, we also offer accommodation options in fully equipped rooms facing the southwest slopes of the vineyards, ensuring you won’t miss a single romantic sunset. Description: Our philosophy: We extract the best from the grapes that nature has given us. We carefully combine the exceptional natural conditions provided by our micro-location, modern grape and wine production technologies, and the experience of a consulting team of top French experts, along with the ambition and desires of the young winery team, to create recognizable and unique wines with a pronounced terroir signature. Each grape variety is approached with care, relative to the wine we want to produce. Thus, the same variety is grown in two different ways for two wines, resulting in an authentic taste that captivates all true wine lovers. Our vineyards are established on specially selected parcels for each variety, based on the wine we want to produce. This way, each variety expresses its best characteristics, resulting in a full, rich taste of the wine. In this region, vines have been cultivated for centuries, and wine is a drink enjoyed by many generations. The first written records date back to the third century when the Roman Emperor M.A. Probus established the first vineyards on the southern edges of Fruška Gora. Later, the Slavs continued the tradition of grape cultivation, and Serbian medieval monasteries made a significant contribution to the development and preservation of this craft, with their estates forming the foundation for the longevity of viticulture, winemaking, and cellar work. The winery has a modern production facility that combines the best of tradition and modernity. All equipment is set up to maximize the use of natural gravity and minimize the use of pumps, which is also the most subtle way to handle wine. The modern approach to production is reflected in the use of equipment made from the most advanced materials used in winemaking, complete temperature control in all wines individually, and monitoring the presence of oxygen, from grape processing to bottle opening. The latest technologies, combined with respect for nature and the grapes, give our wines a specific character that reflects the best that the terroir of Fruška Gora and Mala Remeta as a micro-location can offer.

Description: DiBonis winery and distillery was founded in 2009. The owner and founder Laszlo Boni, an electrical engineer by profession, realized his long-standing dream: to continue the long-standing tradition of his ancestors on both his mother's and father's side as the fourth generation of winegrowers and winemakers. In these long 15 years, there have been many beautiful successes, good deeds, many awards. But of course, as it happens when a man chooses nature as his business partner, there were also a few unsuccessful years, when the vine crop was bad. Considering the restless and investigative spirit of Laszlo, many things would have changed during these years. In the beginning, the large, world-famous vincellosa varieties such as shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, pinot noir, merlot, sauvignon blanc, muscat ottonel, etc. were represented in the vineyard. During the past years, it turned out for many of them that they can survive in this climate and microclimate only with constant spraying of various preparations and chemicals. Since László was fanatical about production from the beginning and could not accept the amount of chemicals with which the above-mentioned varieties had to be treated, he started clearing vineyards and replacing these sensitive varieties with much more resistant and perhaps not so well-known varieties in the world. The most favorite discoveries are the black grape nero, which in Hungary is called "healing grape" because it is full of resveratrol, the white grape of generosity, which gives beautiful dessert wines from the late harvest as well as ice wines. There is also a special resistant variety of sauvignon blanc, which is absolutely different from the classic variety. Fortunately, the favorite shiraz has responded very well to the microclimate of our climate, producing a solid crop every year. In 2023, an application for certification of organic production was submitted. Actions for obtaining permits have been initiated and we are eagerly waiting to receive the certificate. There was no need to make big changes, since years ago we only used preparations allowed in organic production. During all these years of gaining knowledge and experience, wandering in the world of viticulture and winemaking. In 2022, László found his way... he resolved to reduce the capacity of the winery and to turn from massive production to the production of smaller quantities of wine. As he always liked to experiment, during the previous years he created several very interesting wines of limited quantity. They are mostly late vintages of white and red wine, but there are also two types of rosé. As these wines were greeted with great enthusiasm at competitions and on the market, the realization came by itself that all he had done so far was wandering, asada had finally found his way. In 2022, the late-harvest Aliz wine from the generoza grape won the award for the best sweet or semi-sweet wine in Serbia in 2022. The very next year, the DiIceWine grape wine of the ice harvest will win this title for the year 2023. Never before has our winery won awards for rosé wines, and in 2023 both types of limited rosé, DiNero rosé 2022 and DiShiraz rosé 2022 won gold awards at international competitions.

Description: Our company was founded in 2016. The orchard is located on the slopes of Kozara mountain, where we have established the largest plum orchard in Europe. On an area of 100 hectares, we cultivate 80,000 plum trees and 20,000 Williams pear trees. We produce 2,000 tons of the highest quality Čačak variety plums annually. We distill the rakija using traditional methods in copper stills, each with a capacity of 1 ton, and we have four of them. The aging of the rakija takes place in oak barrels, and the best oak for rakija can be found on Kozara. The entire production process, from tree to plum, is completely domestic and ours. In addition to the domestic market, where we are well represented, we are also export-oriented, so you can find our products in: Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Austria, Germany, England, China, and Australia. With an annual production of 100,000 liters, we believe that we will soon export our products to even more countries in Europe and around the world. Đedova šljivovica (Grandfather's Plum Rakija) is our leading brand, a drink of our tradition blended with modern times, specific and unique, easily recognizable among hundreds of other similar beverages. Our idea is to produce rakija with geographical origin, using plums exclusively from our orchard. We also produce rakijas from apples and Williams pears every year from the same geographical area. This way, we achieve a consistent quality of fruit from which we can maximize the quality of the distillate.

Description: Winery Doja is family-owned winery, located in Toplica region, Serbia. Vineyards are located on the slopes of Jastrebac mountain, on the southern and southwestern slopes at an altitude ranging from 430 to 480 m above sea level. Doja estate is surrounded by mountains from each side Jastebac, Radan, Pasjaca, Sokolovica, Vidojevica and Kopaonik and high mountains prevents influence of cold and humid air and makes natural amphitheater. At the time of ripening, the temperatures between day and night are extremely important. In Toplica region temperature during the day goes up to 30 degrees and during the night down to 15 degrees. Temperature differences are significant for the synthesis of anthocyanins in the berry and a rich aromatic complex in wine. What makes our wines unique is the extraordinary diversity of soil composition. The complexity of soil profiles (clay, gravel, abundant mica and carbonate layers), together with the specific meso climatic conditions of the selected localities, create ideal conditions for the production of healthy, high quality grapes. Head of the viticulture team are owner Goran Todić and his wife Slavica Todić, PhD professor of Viticulture at faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. The Doja Winery places the greatest emphasis on the indigenous Serbian grape varieties Prokupac and Tamjanika. Doja Prokupac is the most awarded Prokupac in the world, multiple Decanter golds included.

Description: The Đoković family founded the winery in Šumadija, in the village of Lipovac, near Topola. The vineyards, planted in 2018, are situated on one of the most attractive soils in Serbia, rich red earth with a southern exposure. Syrah is planted in areas with the most stones, while Chardonnay is situated in the limestone section, totaling 6 hectares—equally divided between red and white varieties. All planting material was imported from France, and strict care is taken regarding quality in the vineyard as well as in the wine production process. In this process, Đoković Winery uses barrels made of French oak. The winery spans 1,000 m², of which 600 m² is the production area, and the remaining 400 m² is for tasting and restaurant purposes, which will soon be open to visitors.

Neferis was a Carthaginian fortified town about thirty kilometers from Tunis. It played an important role during the Third Punic War. in antiquity, the hills of NEFERIS were the granary and the winecellar of Rome from the ancient Gulf of Utica , the first commercial port of the Carthaginian and Roman era Since ancient times, in Tunisia as all around the Mediterranean basin, there are large farms that produced grapes. The Domaine Neferis is a young and worthy descendant preserving the soul of Mediterranean agriculture based on nature. It illustrates perfectly the quality of the valley of khanguet terroir where the world’s best grapes such as the Grenache, the Syrah and the Chardonnay, grown on its hillsides, produce authentic and modern wines. A real return to origins of the Mediterranean vine growing to create wines perfectly adapted to the tastes of today’s consumer. The vineyard of Domaine NEFERIS was created, in 2000, on the valley of khanguet, at Grombalia, at the same location where was created the first French vineyards in 1878 by Emile Lançon. It covers an area of 200 hectares of vines planted in Syrah, Carignan, Cinsault ,Grenache, Chardonnay and muscat d’alexandria. All of these grapes have shown, over time, a great adaptation to Mediterranean soils. The vineyard of Domaine Neferis is undoubtedly the most diverse considering its grape varieties and is also unique because of its moderate density, of three thousand vines per hectare, that gives an optimum leaf surface exposed to the sun and we think produces wine of exceptional quality. The examination of the soils of Domaine NEFERIS vineyards reveals two soil types particularly suited to growing grapes. The first is a deep soil composed with alluvial flows of sandy loam, allowing excellent ventilation and adequate crop development. The second type is more superficial soil and clay calcareous nature. Ripeness and acidity are found here in a nice balance Its semi continental microclimate, haracterized by large changes in temperature, provides a very good synthesis of phenolic compounds, for red wines, and a perfect balance freshness-aromatic power, for white and rosé wines The winery of Domaine Neferis was conceived to allow the winemaker to realize the different types of wine making and vinification, while providing good preservation of the organoleptic quality of the grapes from the harvest to the bottling. Our technology is special because we have two coaxial tubular heat exchangers for cooling grapes, must and wine that are all outdoors. All winemaking and storage tanks are thermo-regulated. The emperature control is essential for both the development and for wine storage. In addition, the winery has a complete station for inerting of musts and wines to ensure good protection against oxidation. Finally the Domaine Neferis has invested in a cellar of French oak barrels from the most world famous and well known coopers. In order to give our wines a great complexity, we selected barrels of different types according to the level of the grains fineness and the intensity of heat. The know-how of our teams and the high level of our equipment guarantee the optimum quality to our wines.

Today, DFR is under the ownership of the Olariu family, Romanian investors, who have expanded it by incorporating 40 hectares from "Domeniile Persu-Eminescu," a vineyard area with historical significance. This land has been in the possession of Mihnea Olariu's great-grandparents, Alexandru Persu and Ecaterina Eminescu, since the 1840s. Alexandru Persu was an agronomist engineer and former mayor of Tohani commune, while Ecaterina Eminescu was the granddaughter of the greatest Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu. These are Sangiovese, an autochthonous Italian grape variety, and Palava, which is a variety created by crossing Gewürztraminer and Müller-Thurgau. Description: Drašković Winery is built on the foundations of the decades-long fame of one of the largest wineries in former Yugoslavia, Vršac Vineyards, marking the beginning of a new era in grape growing and winemaking in the Vršac wine region. The decision of the Swisslion – Takovo business system is to implement a multi-year investment plan that includes investments in all segments of grape and wine production, starting from vineyards, through the construction of a new winery building, to the reconstruction of 19th-century buildings for the purpose of wine tourism. Currently, approximately 380 hectares are under vineyards. The predominant white wine varieties are: Italian Riesling, Muscat Otonel, Rhine Riesling, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Smederevka, Župljanka, Šasla, Rkaciteli, and Kreaca, while the red varieties include: Frankovka, Muscat Hamburg, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah. The wines are divided into several categories. Banat Riesling, a wine with geographical origin. The basic line consists of five labels: Muscat Otonel, White Burgundy, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Frankovka. The premium line includes three labels: Wind Rose, Wild Rose, and Horizon, while the authentic line consists of two labels: White Pinot and Mahago. In a special category, we offer limited series wines Frankovka Reserve and Grašac – Late Harvest. Our system also includes Helvecija, a historically significant facility built in 1880 as a wine cellar with a capacity of one million liters. It is now a completely reconstructed facility that includes a hotel with 10 luxurious accommodation units in the main building and seven in the annex, an à la carte restaurant, a wine salon, a tasting room, and a unique cellar where pre-arranged dinners, celebrations, tastings, and similar events can be held.

Description: The winery operates under the legal name Hocanska vina d.o.o. registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency in 2007 and is the first professional company in the territory of Orahovac municipality. We own about 1ha of vineyards in several locations in Velika Hoca, some of which were destroyed due to war operations and total isolation, in the first years after the end of NATO bombing. The annual production varies from 10 to 20 thousand liters of wine. The winery also buys grapes from its (Orahovac) vine region. In addition to marketing on the domestic market in around 50 outlets (restaurants, wine shops, markets,...) and occasional cooperation with certain social institutions and private companies, the winery succeeds in marketing its products in the countries of the European Union: France, Germany, Belgium. and Switzerland, but also in distant South America - Brazil. So far, more than 20,000 bottles have been sold in these countries. In this way, we proudly promote Velika Hoca and its values throughout Europe: in Brussels, Paris, Strasbourg, Zurich, Frankfurt, Lyon, Geneva, Amsterdam,... Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro,... Awards: Gold diploma for Vranac barrique 2012 (BeoWine challenge cup 2016); Silver diploma for Vranac barrique 2015 (BeoWine challenge cup 2018); Silver diploma for Vranac barrique 2016 (BeoWine challenge cup 2019). Description: Located in the village of Erdevik in Srem on the western slopes of Fruška Gora, Erdevik Winery sits at an altitude of 140 meters, surrounded by Fruška Gora on two sides and plains on the other two, with three beautiful lakes. The village’s rich history includes Roman-era sites and evidence of settlement from the Bronze Age. First mentioned in written records in 1351 and mapped in Srem in 1730, Erdevik came under Austrian rule and into the hands of the Italian Odescalchi family, who aided Emperor Leopold I during the Turkish siege of Vienna. The name likely comes from the Hungarian word ERDŐVÉG, meaning forested area. The first vine in Erdevik was planted in 276 AD under Emperor Probus. Since then, the mild and favorable climate of Fruška Gora has fostered a long tradition of winemaking and enjoyment of wine in the area. In the early 19th century, Count Livio Odescalchi established this cellar in 1826. Today, Erdevik Winery blends modern and traditional methods to produce premium wines exclusively from its vineyard on the right bank of the Danube.

Description: The history of Cantina Fabiano began in 1912 when the founder, Francesco Fabiano, along with his son Sergio, started selling their own wines in the city of Venice. From there, they expanded their business into the Veneto hinterland, eventually reaching Verona. In the late 1950s, Sergio Fabiano and his children moved permanently to Verona, initially operating out of the Cantina di Colà di Lazise, where their commercial activities extended throughout Northern Italy. In the following decade, Sergio children began constructing a new winery in Sona, which became one of the largest wineries in Italy in terms of production volume by the early 1970s. The commercial growth during the 1980s and 1990s saw Fabiano wines exported to all major countries worldwide in ever-increasing volumes, establishing Fabiano as a leading name in Verona and Italian winemaking. Today, Alessandro Fabiano, representing the fourth generation, is the producer of Fabiano wines. The name is recognized worldwide, boasting a 112-year history and renowned for its PREMIUM wines, produced in limited quantities of 200,000 bottles. Description: The Experimental station of Faculty of Agriculture "Radmilovac" is a legacy of the family of Milan Vukićević (Jevrosima, Sima and Milan Vukićević legacy). Scientific and research professional work is organized at ODPF "Radmilovac" to achieve the quality of studies, for their development and improvement, as well as for the development and improvement of the profession as a whole. ODPF "Radmilovac" represents an unique national resource from several fields of agricultural sciences, one of them is canning and fermentation technology, as well as viticulture and fruit growing, which are connected into one unit by the construction of a winery and distillery. Obtaining distillate and wine as final products completes the acquired practice of the students. The faculty has 11 ha of vineyards located in the Belgrade region, Gročan vineyard. In addition to commercial varieties from which wine is produced, there are plantations with newly created varieties of both wine and table grapes. The Radmilovac Winery is located near the center of Belgrade and can be reached by bus lines 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307 and 311. An excellent location, interesting wine packaging, a long and successful tradition, as well as wines with full flavor and a wonderful aroma, are only part of the rich offer of this prominent and recognized winery, whose successfully marketed the wine brand on various markets. The great success and popularity of the winery is best explained by the wine cellar and the tasting room, which are visited by numerous visitors every day.

Description: When Hans Ulrich Hugel established with his family in Riquewihr in 1639, the town already carried a solid reputation for the quality of its wines. The crus of Schoenenbourg and Sporen were at the time amongst the most prized wines in Europe. His viticulture and winemaking skills made him in a lifetime one of the most respected producers in the area, but also a very influential gourmet and the head of Riquewihr’s vintners’ brotherhood, the most powerful in Alsace. What he probably did not expect was that his decision to settle in Riquewihr would start one of the longest existing family stories in the world of wine. As an homage, his initials still stand proudly on the family crest and on every bottle of Hugel wine. But time didn’t go by without challenges, from conflicts to the difficult vintages of the early XXth century, generations of Hugels have fought and worked hard for the continuation of their lineage, under the same name, in the same town, having the same profession. Today Famille Hugel is a synonymous with Alsace across close to 100 countries. With a resolute commitment to quality, the family supervises every aspect of the production, showing to the wine the respect it deserves. At Hugel no wine is put to market directly after bottling, a family blind tasting decides when it is ready to be sold, giving it time to spread its wings and find its place in the bottle it has been confined in. Firm believers that a great wine is a great wine over time, the Hugel cellars count close to 2 million bottles, some three years supply, waiting for their time, their optimum moment to be commercialized and enjoyed. Description: Familija Estate cultivates approx. 20 ha of land in Haloze, including 13.6 ha of vineyards in the absolute wine-growing location Veliki vrh. In the following years, it is planned to plant and cultivate additional neighboring vineyards, with which the Brodnjak family would round off an exceptional vineyard in one piece on more than 18 hectares. The latter stretches 230-300 m above sea level and with its orientation (SE-SW) provides exceptional conditions for the ripening of typical varieties, where Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling/Grašica are in the foreground, while Pinot Gris and Riesling are also giving excellent result. Due to climate changes, we are counting heavily on the breakthrough of Welsch Riesling in the future. In a new plantation in an extreme location under the church of St. Ana, Pinot Noir and Blaufrankisch were planted in 2023, with which red varieties were also added. The family plans to produce up to a maximum of 50,000 bottles of juicy and drinkable wine per year with a gradual transformation into a completely organic production. The first year on the market is 2020 with two bottlings of the Sauvignon Blanc variety, in the 2022 a Pinot Gris wine was added, and with the 2023 year also a Rosé and a fresh Sauvignon Blanc variety, which are present under the entry level of wines known under white label . In 2024, a modern cellar was built, which created the conditions for the processing of all grapes into wine under the Family's own brand. The property itself is dominated by an exceptional building in which, after the reconstruction a new cellar, a tasting room, high-quality restaurant and rooms will be built. With all this, the so-called Veselič's masonry, will became the focal point of the region and will complete the offer of the estate. At other part of estatew in Mali Okič, as part of the sustainable Life to Grasslands project, the family also breeds a herd of Scottish highland cattle, for which we have also obtained an organic(eco) certificate. The goal of the estate is to connect the surrounding farms and promote and develop an ecosystem of high-quality products, which will give the otherwise demographically threatened area a new perspective.
