Distillery “Podrum Želja” is located in the village of Nanomir, near Mionica. Its primary activity is the production of fruit brandy from plums, quinces, apricots, and pears. In addition to rakija production, the distillery nurtures a rich tradition of fruit growing in this part of Serbia. On own agricultural holding plums are grown on 4 hectares and pears and quinces on 1 hectare each.
The annual production capacity of around 40,000 bottles of brandy allows the products to be available to a wide range of brandy lovers.
At “Podrum Želja,” fruit brandy is made exclusively from high-quality fruit produced on its own farm or supplied from local agricultural producers. The production process is based on a blend of tradition and modern technology. The fermentation process is carefully controlled to preserve the natural aromas of the fruit. Distillation is carried out in traditional copper stills. The resulting distillates are aged in oak barrels for five to twelve years, achieving exceptional aroma, flavor, color, and quality.
The distillery features a tasting room that can accommodate up to 70 people, providing a perfect opportunity to enjoy fruit bradny alongside local cured meats, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors.
