On Oplenac, as part of the Endowment of King Peter the First, King Alexander built the Royal Winery in the style of French wine cellars in 1931. In 2004, respecting the sovereign demands set by King Petar and King Alexander, the Endowment began the revitalization of its own wine production, new vineyards were planted on an area of 11 hectares, and wine production was renewed in the Royal Winery.

Today, the Royal Winery on Oplenac produces wines in limited quantities, exclusively from grapes from its own plantations, and these wines, in addition to the peculiarities of the variety, contain the distinctiveness of the climate and the exceptionality of the Oplenac microlocation with the preserved natural harmony between the vines and the conditions in which the grapes were grown and the wine produced .
