The history of Prosecco Valdo began in 1926, when a group of enterprising winemakers from Valdobbiadene decided to join forces creating the Societa Anonima Vini Superiori: a company principally devoted to sparkling wine production od Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze. The great step forward in terms of quality started at the beginning of the twenties when a company was bought by the Bolla family from Verona and was renamed: Valdo Spumanti. Sergio Bolla the father of Pierluigi, the current chairman, focused on expanding sales both in Italy and abroad, he set new commercial and production targets with the aim of increasing awareness of Prosecco Valdo, or to be precise, the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Docg, throughout the world.
