Skaramuča Winery is one of the largest private wineries in Croatia and the owner of the largest vineyard in the Dingač area. The vineyards are located in prominent positions on the Pelješac peninsula, belonging to the Pelješka parish and Dingač. On the southern slopes of Dingač, the vineyards cover an area of 20 ha.
Dingač is a premium dry red wine of controlled origin from limited areas of the Pelješac peninsula. In 1961, it was protected by the Geneva Convention and became the first Croatian wine protected by law. It is obtained from the autochthonous „plavac mali“ variety from Dingač, on the steep southern slopes of the Pelješac peninsula.
The cellar of the Skaramuča family is one of the most modernly equipped cellars in Dalmatia. The cellar with a capacity of 600,000 liters includes stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, and it produces 350,000 bottles of wine annually. Skaramuča wines are recognized for their quality both on the domestic and foreign markets, and are sold on the Croatian market and exported to more than 25 countries around the world.
