Micić Winery is a family-owned winery that continues a family tradition of wine production that began long ago in the area of Velika Hoča, situated on gentle slopes at the foothills of Mount Milanovac, at an altitude of about 420 meters. Due to the openness of the river and stream valleys to the south and west, the area of Velika Hoča experiences the influence of a Mediterranean climate, which penetrates through the valley of the White Drin and has a remarkably beneficial effect on viticulture.
The winery has three vineyards covering about 1 hectare, planted with Prokupac grape variety and a new white Tamjanika vineyard planted last year. A few years ago, we decided to increase our wine production due to the numerous positive reviews, particularly for our rosé wine, which we bottled and offered to all wine lovers. The annual production of wine is around 2,500 bottles.
After much consideration, we named our wine Amanet. We want to pass on the wine production we inherited from our ancestors to our descendants.
