McC Winery was built in 2017/2018 in Erdevik, on Fruška Gora and produces organic and biodynamic wines. When treating the land, we do not use any chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, artificial fertilizers and other modified organisms that can permanently destroy the natural ecosystem. We own a little less than 3ha of land, our varieties are: -red: Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir, white: Traminac, Rhine Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc.
The owner of the winery is Don McCulloch, a Scotsman who, together with his wife Seka Nikolić, bought a vineyard in Erdevik in 2008, which was planted in 2009 and in 2011 the first vintage was produced, which has already won bronze at the Decanter. Together, they began to spread awareness and knowledge about a different and better approach to growing grapes. Until 2018, we produced wines in other wineries.
We are located on the slopes of Fruška Gora, on the wine route, i.e. the Ilok-Erdevik route, which significantly contributes to the development of wine tourism on Fruška Gora, in the area where the Roman emperor Probus was in 296 BC. brought modern viticulture to this region.

The McC winery has an area of 221.17m2. It produces an average of 15,000 bottles per year. Red wines are stored for 12 months in Serbian oak barrels and in bottles for at least another 10 months. White wines are also aged for a minimum of 10 months in bottles before being released on the market. In 2020, we built a warehouse next to the winery where we store wine stocks.
We have all the necessary quality technology for wine production, over 40 barrels, a dozen stainless steel vessels, etc.
The very construction of our winery represents an extremely beautiful tourist facility where tourists and visitors can enjoy the view, the tastes of the highest quality wines and where they can learn a lot about our rich history. It consists of a production plant, a bar room where visitors can taste wines, a hall on the upper floor where friends and visitors can enjoy wine and the best appetizers of beautiful Srem with a pleasant atmosphere.
Since 2011, we have been using an organic and biodynamic approach to soil and vineyard treatment, but only after the winery was built did we apply for and receive the ORGANIC CERTIFICATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA for organic production and processing, as well as for export, in November 2020 by an accredited certification body. EKOCERT BALKAN” doo from Zemun, authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
In 2023/2024 we receive a certificate for biodynamic wine processing for the 2022 harvest by the company “Demeter” -Biodynamic Federation Demeter International.
All varieties are nurtured with the help of a biodynamic approach to wine production and traditional agricultural methods. Without the use of artificial fertilizers or chemicals, taste, quality and individuality are obtained with minimal intervention in the winery.
