The family winery Markova Kula from Kavadarci was established in 2021 and continues the family tradition of winemaking. The winery has a capacity of 5,000 liters of wine. It has its own vineyards covering an area of 1.5 hectares planted with wine varieties Temjanika, Rizling, and Smederevka. Preparations are underway for planting the Vranec variety. The vineyards are located in the heart of Tikvešija, in the cadastral area of the village of Begnište. The relief and climatic conditions of this region allow for the production of quality grapes, which every winemaker desires to have as raw material for wine production. Currently, the winery’s production range includes the following wines: Temjanika, Vranec, Rizling, and Stanušina, with plans to increase production capacity and enrich the wine selection.
