More than hundred years ago, the slopes of Mount Venčac were covered with vineyards. Back in 1903, in the very heart of Šumadija region, in Banja near Arandjelovac, the “Venčac vineyard cooperative” was founded, which became synonymous with the beginning of winemaking and viticulture in Serbia. The Venčac Vine Cooperative was reputed to be unique and one of the best wineries of that time in the Balkans. On the foundations of family values and rich history, inspired by the experience of ancestors, the LEGAT 1903 winery was created as a crown of heritage, where top wines of refined taste are produced.
