Kairos Wine is a producer with its own vineyard on the Adriatic coast, near Split. On 10 ha, on a rocky hill near the sea, 6 black varieties are organically grown, mainly the autochthonous Dalmatian Plavac mali and Crljenak. Yields are low, but the grapes are exceptional.
In the cellar, wild yeasts and minimal amounts of sulfur are used, with long-term maturation in a combination of oak barrels and different tanks. The result is complex wines that honestly represent their Dalmatian terroir.
Kairos is a word that denotes the moment when the right opportunity presents itself. Once we had the opportunity to make wine and we accepted it with great pleasure.
