The Mladenović distillery was founded in 2018, in Stara Pazova. The values that inspire our distillery are family and nature.
Brandies are named after family women’s names, the ladies who were and still are the backbone of the Mladenović family. The names are given after grandmothers, great-grandmothers, great-grandmothers and aunts.
The idea arose because the orchard (plum tree) that was owned by grandmother Milica was the first to be used for the production of brandy in our family. That’s how we came up with the idea that plum brandy is named after grandmother “Milika”. Names for other fruit types and brandies were just added on.
The Mladenović distillery owns an orchard on one hectare and it is completely under plum trees. We have about 400 trees from our own plantation, mostly of the Cačan variety and some 40 trees of the autochthonous red ranka variety.
The distillery has the capacity to process 150 tons of fruit of various kinds, and we currently process about 60 to 70 tons of fruit per year and produce 6,000 to 7,000 liters of brandy.
Since last year, brandies from the Mladenović distillery have been exported to Germany and Australia.
