The Fenek Monastery Winery is the root and fruit of the restoration and flourishing of this ancient sanctuary and the life in it. The root because the idea of a winery arose from the need for its own source of income for the further renovation of the monastery and the fruit because the tradition of monastic wine production was revived, without which Liturgical life would not be possible.
With the arrival of a new brotherhood in 2006 to the almost deserted Fenek Monastery, the spiritual and material restoration of this ancient sanctuary began. Seeing that life in the monastery and its restoration depended mainly on their own efforts and work, the brotherhood began to engage in various obediences. This is how the idea of FENEK MONASTERY WINERY was born.
The attention of the winery is focused on the production of small series, authentic, varietal wines: from international Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir to autochthonous Prokupac and Tamjanika. From brandies, in addition to plum, to which the most attention is paid, there are also other fruit brandies, and even raspberry, calvados and cognac.
