Cantina Bernardi has always specialized in the production of Prosecco and Prosecco Superiore Valdobbiadenne DOCG. One of its peculiarities is the meticulousness and continuity in the production method of its Prosecco. The winery has a very traditional and artisanal approach to production and its sparkling wines are always true to themselves, remaining very stable over time in quality and sensory expressions because the style is that of a classic production, not inattentive to the fashions of the moment. Bernardi uses only grapes from its own lands. Cantina Bernardi, nestled in the idyllic hills of Refrontolo, is the result of Mansueto Bernardi’s stubborn determination, who founded it in 1960. His love for the land and wine has been passed on to his sons Pierluigi and Adriano, and now continues with his grandchildren, the third generation of winemakers. Passion guides every phase of production, from the manual selection and harvesting of the grapes, to vinification, to sparkling wine production in autoclave using the Martinotti-Charmat method, to aging in small barrels for the reds and precious dessert wines, all the way to the final bottling stage.
