Calabria Hosting Vinitaly and the City

Vinitaly and the City, an event synonymous with Verona, and designed to celebrate wine and its production areas, for the first time ever leaves the walls of Verona to reach Calabria and immerse itself in the discovery of all the Mediterranean flavors and aromas.

This Vinitaly and the City extraordinary journey is taking us to the Sibari Archeological Park for three days of tastings, talks, masterclasses and cultural events, from August 30th to September 1st 2024.

At the centerstage of Vinitaly and the City will be the authentic flavor of Calabrian wines and its native vines such as Pecorello , Greco and Greco Nero, Guarnaccia, and Nocera. The producers themselves will accompany visitors on this extraordinary journey with tastings and unique experiences. This food and wine journey will continue with the wine selections curated by Gambero Rosso and the participation of consortia from other regions and countries.

As Vinitaly’s partner, Wine Vision by Open Balkan is equally dedicated to celebrating and cherishing authentic flavors, which is why we are looking forward to many more events such as this one. Moreover, we look forward to welcoming Vinitaly for the second time in a row to Wine Vision by Open Balkan, in Belgrade this November.
